CLOTHING HISTORY

Garment is French in our language. In our country, in the 1930s and 1940s, various factories within Sümerbank began to be opened, as well as by the state, and after the 1950s, the Turkish textile industry gained a significant dynamism. Meanwhile, in addition to cotton production, Sümerbank's start of regenerated cellulose production in Gemlik has also intensified the non-cotton production of the Turkish textile sector. In the 1960s and 1970s, the Turkish textile industry started to implement an intensive investment move. Our goods, which were once exported as raw materials, were first exported as yarn, then fabric and especially ready-made clothing in the 80s. Ready-to-Wear is the finishing of the garment not one by one, but in a series. In short, it is a joint production in a short time.
